Formally Tribeca, Jun Bei Liu is now the Founder and Lead Portfolio Manager of Ten Cap.

Starting as an equity analyst in 2005, she spent several years as a Portfolio Manager, and in 2019 took over the Alpha Plus Fund, one of Australia’s longest running equity long short funds. Matthew Kidman reflects on Centennial’s decade-long collaboration with Future Generation, highlighting his transition from working with Geoff Wilson at Wilson Asset Managment, to joining Future Generation’s investment committee.

Matthew worked as a portfolio manager/CIO at Wilson Asset Management for 13 years between 1998 and 2011, helping to build the business and excellent long-term investment track record, achieving 18% p.a over the period.

David has over 37 years’ experience in equity investments. Prior to establishing Paradice Investment Management in 1999, David spent five years as the smaller companies fund manager at Mercantile Mutual specialising in small company research/funds management.

Prior to joining Mercantile Mutual, he held the position of small listed and unlisted portfolio manager with the NSW State Superannuation Investment and Management Corporation.

David Allen has more than two decades’ experience in investing in global equities. The majority of David’s career has been spent managing long/short strategies in London. He worked for JP Morgan Asset Management in London for fifteen years becoming one of the youngest managing directors in the firm’s history.

Upon returning to his hometown of Sydney in 2018, David joined Plato Investment Management. He is the firm’s Co-Head of Research, Head of Long/Short Strategies and Portfolio Manager of the Plato Global Alpha Fund.

Nikki Thomas rejoined Magellan in 2022 after an absence of four years during which time she worked as a global portfolio manager at Alphinity Investment Management.

Nikki originally started at Magellan in 2007 as a Senior Research Analyst and was instrumental in setting up the Magellan Global Fund prior to its launch in July 2007.

Over the following 11 years, she helped design the Magellan investment process, ran the Franchises team, was promoted to Portfolio Manager (2011), made Head of Research (2014) and managed a global ex-US strategy for US investors (2016).

Before Magellan, Nikki spent 14 years in institutional stockbroking, holding equity analyst positions at Deutsche Bank and BT Securities, where she helped develop the valuation tools used by the research team.

Jonas develops and implements the sales strategy for both institutional and retail markets whilst also overseeing the broader marketing function. Rafi co-founded L1 Capital in 2007 with Joint Managing Director and Co-CIO Mark Landau.
