Future Generation is an investment model that delivers more. Founded by Wilson Asset Management’s Geoff Wilson AO more than a decade ago, the fund-of-funds model provides shareholders with access to leading Australian and global fund managers at no cost.

These fund managers generously waive all fees, allowing Future Generation to donate 1% of its net assets each year to high impact Australian not-for-profit organisations. Since inception, Future Generation has donated more than $113 million to Australian not-for-profits, without compromising shareholder returns.

The investment portfolios are constructed by experienced Investment Committees, including fund managers, leading consultants, investment specialists and independent directors, who also work pro bono. Their role is to oversee the investment portfolios and ensure they are made up of leading Australian and global fund managers and are diversified across styles and strategies. The funds aim to deliver a sustainable stream of fully franked dividends, capital preservation and attractive returns with lower volatility and concentration risk than the broader market.

Future Generation Australia (ASX: FGX) and Future Generation Global (ASX: FGG) are listed on the Australian Securities Exchange (ASX). By purchasing shares, investors gain access to a portfolio of more than 30 boutique active fund managers, including Paradice Investment Management, Plato Investment Management, and institutional investors such as Holowesko Partners, otherwise not available to retail investors.

It’s a ‘win, win, win’ model; shareholders gain access to leading fund managers at no cost and receive fully franked income and capital growth with lower than market volatility, all while supporting Australian not-for-profit organisations focused on youth mental health and vulnerable Australian children.

Over the last 12 months to 31 July 2026, Future Generation Australia and Future Generation Global have delivered strong total shareholder return of 15.8% and 18.4% respectively, including the value of franking credits. Both companies have increased their dividends every year for the past eleven (Future Generation Australia) and seven (Future Generation Global) years, demonstrating their ability to provide investors with a reliable stream of fully franked income through varying market conditions.

Since inception to 31 Jult 2026, Future Generation Australia has increased 9.0% per annum, outperforming the S&P/ASX All Ordinaries Accumulation Index with lower volatility, while Future Generation Global has increased 9.4% per annum, with less volatility than the broader market.

Similar to its fund managers, Future Generation’s charitable program takes a portfolio approach, to ensure it has the greatest impact from each dollar donated. Future Generation delivers best-in-class philanthropy, which means funding areas that have the greatest potential to positively impact outcomes, but are often overlooked and underfunded.

Since its inception in 2014, Future Generation Australia has donated $54.9 million to organisations supporting some of Australia’s most vulnerable children, including $5.9 million in the past year alone. Future Generation Australia’s annual donation supports 11 non-profits working to promote healthy relationships, resilience, and a positive sense of self in vulnerable children.

Since listing in 2015, Future Generation Global has donated $57.3 million to organisations supporting youth mental health and wellbeing, including $6.8 million in the past year. Future Generation Global’s annual donation supports 13 non-profit organisations that work across the wellbeing and prevention spectrum, utilising a broad range of approaches from in school mentoring programs to nature-based therapy.

In 2024, Future Generation launched Future Generation Women, Australia’s first philanthropic women’s investment fund. As an unlisted trust, Future Generation Women aims to deliver investment returns through a combination of income and capital growth, while supporting economic equality for Australian women. The fund provides investors with exposure to a diversified portfolio of Australian and global equities, managed by leading women fund managers. These fund managers work pro bono, allowing the Fund to donate 1% of its average monthly net assets to non-profits advancing economic equality and opportunity for Australian women. In 2025, Future Generation Women made its first donation of $1.1 million to nine high impact non-profit organisations working to provide employment opportunities for some of Australia’s most disadvantaged women.

By investing in Future Generation, shareholders directly support organisations like KidsXpress, which for 20 years, has worked with children under 12 that have been affected by family violence, neglect, bereavement, illness and family disruption. Through trauma-informed expressive therapy, KidsXpress supports children using the powerful modalities of art, music, drama, movement and play, reaching more than 3,000 children each year across New South Wales.

Eight-year-old Theo is one of these children. Having lost his father to suicide, Theo’s world turned upside down. His teacher unknowingly resembled Theo’s father, with the same build, glasses and easy humour. Every day, Theo sat metres from a living reminder of the father he once had.

Theo refused to enter the classroom, developed morning headaches and began fighting in the playground. As a traumatised young boy, he didn’t have the words to explain this. Few eight-year-olds would.

That’s when KidsXpress changed everything, providing free, accessible support through evidence-based expressive therapy. Through KidsXpress, Theo found ways to express how he was feeling. Working with his school, KidsXpress were able to support Theo’s mother and teacher to understand his distress and help Theo return to class.

“Early intervention changes what becomes possible for a child,” says Margo Ward, Founder and CEO of KidsXpress. “Future Generation’s support means we can reach children like Theo before the effects of trauma become more deeply embedded across adolescence and adulthood, while also strengthening the adults and systems around them so that change can last. Otherwise, we’re trying to clap with one hand.”

Theo’s story reflects something KidsXpress have learnt from two decades of practice: supporting the child alone is not enough. Lasting change requires investing in the adults and systems around them.

By supporting Australian non-profit organisations like KidsXpress, Future Generation aims to unlock potential that drives positive change across entire communities. An investment in Future Generation provides more than financial returns – it helps to build a stronger, fairer and more inclusive future for all Australians.
