Whether you are new to investing or are a seasoned investor, beginning your investment journey with Future Generation is simple. Shares in Future Generation Australia (ASX: FGX) and Future Generation Global (ASX: FGG), are listed on the Australian Securities Exchange (ASX).

How to invest

1). Open a broking account

Set up a share trading account, either online or with a broker, to execute trades in the share market. If you know what shares you want to buy, an online broking account such as CommSec, is a cost-effective ways to buy shares. You must be over 18 years of age and an Australian resident with a valid Australian address to set up a share trading account.
If you are new to investing, you may choose to seek financial advice from a full-service broker or a financial adviser. You can find a broker by asking if your bank has a broking service or go to the ASX website.

2). Purchase your shares

Once you have set up your broking account you can purchase shares. Note the ASX code of the company, also known as a ‘ticker’, you wish to purchase shares in, such as FGG or FGX. Enter the total number of shares you wish to buy. When you buy or sell shares using a broker, you pay a brokerage fee for each trade. Note that you will need to pay for your securities within two days of your broker executing your order.

3). Being a shareholder in a Listed Investment Company

If you purchase shares in Future Generation Australia (ASX: FGX) or Future Generation Global (ASX: FGG), you will receive a welcome letter from our share registry Boardroom.
Once you receive the welcome letter you are able to:
