Louise Walsh

Chief Executive Officer

Louise is a senior executive with a strong mix of experience in the not-for-profit, government and private sectors. A former solicitor at Allens, she has spent most of her career in sport, arts and philanthropy. Louise was recently the CEO of Philanthropy Australia, the peak body for philanthropy in Australia.

Louise is a board member of St Vincent’s Curran Foundation and the City Recital Hall in Sydney.

Belinda Hutchinson AM

Chairman

Belinda is Chancellor of the University of Sydney, Chairman of Thales Australia, Chairman of Future Generation Global Investment Company, a Director of AGL Energy, Australian Philanthropic Services, and a Member of the St Vincent’s Health Australia NSW Advisory Council.

Belinda was previously Chairman of QBE Insurance Group and a Director of Telstra Corporation, Coles Myer, Crane Group, Energy Australia, TAB, Snowy Hydro Trading and Sydney Water. Her executive career included her role as an Executive Director of Macquarie Group, a Vice President of Citibank, and a senior manager at Andersen Consulting. She has a Bachelor of Economics from the University of Sydney and is a Fellow of the Institute of Chartered Accountants in Australia and the Australian Institute of Company Directors.

Geoff Wilson

Founder and Director

Geoff has over 38 years’ direct experience in investment markets having held a variety of senior investment roles in Australia, the UK and the US. Geoff founded Wilson Asset Management in 1997. Geoff created Australia’s first listed philanthropic wealth creation vehicles, Future Generation Investment Company Limited and Future Generation Global Investment Company Limited. Geoff is Chairman of WAM Capital, WAM Leaders, WAM Global, WAM Research, WAM Active and WAM Microcap. Geoff holds a number of additional directorships with investment companies and non-profit organisations.

Frank Casarotti

Director

Frank joined Magellan in March 2007. Prior to Magellan, Frank held a senior distribution management role at Colonial First State (a wholly-owned subsidiary of Commonwealth Bank), one of Australia’s largest and most successful investment and platform administration companies. During his fourteen years with the Colonial Group, Frank was a significant contributor to the strategy that resulted in growth in funds under management and administration from $800 million to over $100 billion in 2007.

Sarah Morgan

Director

Sarah is an experienced corporate financial advisor. Her previous executive roles included 16 years with independent corporate advisory firm Grant Samuel. Sarah is a graduate and member of the Australian Institute of Company Directors (AICD) and Australasian Institute of Mining and Metallurgy (AusIMM). Sarah Morgan is currently a non-executive Director of Hansen Technologies Limited (appointed October 2014) and Adslot Limited (appointed January 2015) and is a non-executive Director of Hong Kong based Luxe City Guides. Sarah holds a degree in Engineering and Masters of Business Administration, majoring in finance, at the University of Melbourne. She currently chairs the audit and risk committees of Hansen Technologies Limited and Adslot Limited

Geoff R Wilson

Director

Geoff experience spans more than 35 years in numerous positions with KPMG, having lived and worked in Australia, Hong Kong and Silicon Valley. Geoff was most recently based in Hong Kong as the Chief Operating Officer for the Asia Pacific region, where he was responsible for the oversight and strategic direction of KPMG’s regional business comprising 20 countries and over 30,000 people. He is currently an Independent Non-Executive Director of HSBC Bank Australia Limited (HSBC Australia), ipSCAPE Pty Ltd and the TOLL Group where he also Chairs the Audit and Risk Committee. He is also an Advisory Board member for Silicon Valley based start-up HitCheck. Geoff has been involved with a number of Not-for-Profit organisations, including Australian Business in the Community Network (ABCN), Jawun, Sydney Festival and Australian Chamber (HK): Women in Business Committee and President of the UNSW Hong Kong Business Alumni Network Committee, In addition, the UNSW Business School Advisory Council, and is a Founding Member of The Male Champions of Change group conveyed by Elizabeth Broderick as well as an Ambassador for the Australian Indigenous Education Foundation (AIEF).

Mark Licciardo

Company Secretary

Mark is Managing Director of Mertons Corporate Services Pty Limited which provides company secretarial and corporate governance consulting services to ASX listed and unlisted public and private companies. Prior to establishing Mertons, Mark was Company Secretary of the Transurban Group and Australian Foundation Investment Company Limited. Mark has also had an extensive commercial banking career with the Commonwealth Bank and State Bank Victoria.

Kate Thorley

Company Secretary

Kate has over 14 years’ experience in the funds management industry and more than 20 years of financial accounting and corporate governance experience. Kate is the Chief Executive Officer of Wilson Asset Management (International) Pty Limited, Director of WAM Research Limited, WAM Active Limited, WAM Leaders Limited, WAM Microcap Limited, WAM Global Limited and Future Generation Investment Company Limited. Kate is the Company Secretary of Future Generation Global Investment Company Limited. She holds a Bachelor of Commerce, a Graduate Diploma in Applied Finance and Investment, Graduate Diploma of Applied Corporate Governance and is a fully qualified CA. She is a member of the Australian Institute of Company Directors.

Jonathan Nicholas

Director

Jonathan was one of the early staff members of ReachOut and served the organisation for more than 20 years, acting as CEO of its Australian operations between 2010 and 2018. In 2018, Jonathan established the Wellbeing Outfit, a consulting business specialising in mental health and wellbeing. Through the Wellbeing Outfit he works with some of Australia’s largest companies to improve the mental health of their staff and customers and is also an executive consultant at EY.

Jonathan is the deputy chair of the Foundation for Alcohol Research and Education and was previously a director of Mental Health Australia. Jonathan holds a Bachelor of Arts (Hons) majoring in Psychology and a Master of Public Health.

Sean Webster

Chairman FGG - Investment Committee

Sean has over 19 years experience in the Australian investment markets in Senior Investment Research roles. He is currently Senior Manager, Research and Investment Strategy for a large financial institution. Previously he was Research Manager with Australian Fund Monitors, a research and database house that specialises in absolute return and emerging funds, within a broad managed fund research function.

Aman Ramrakha

Investment Committee

Aman has over 21 years financial services experience and has held technical, consulting and advisory roles at BT Financial Group, Colonial First State, KPMG and the Commonwealth Private Bank. Aman holds a Bachelor of Commerce, majoring in Economics and Finance, a Graduate Diploma in Applied Finance and Investments and a Diploma of Financial Planning. Currently Aman is a Director Manager Research Ratings at Morningstar.

Chris Donohoe

Investment Committee

Chris joined the Investment Committee in May 2016, after serving as the Co-CEO in the Company’s inaugural year. Chris is the founder of Seed Partnerships Pty Limited. He also has CEO experience in funds management and considerable experience in the initiation, capital raising and management of listed investment companies. He holds a Masters of Business in Finance, majoring in Funds Management, from the University of Technology, Sydney.

Kiera Grant

Director

Kiera has extensive experience as a non-executive director of public and private companies as well as seniormanagement experience, having spent 15 years working in equity capital markets, most recently as Executive Director, UBS Australia. Kiera is serving on the boards of Samuel Smith & Sons Pty Ltd (holding company of the Yalumba Wine Company and Negociants Distribution) and the Sydney Dance Company as a non-executive director. She is also a trustee of the Art Gallery of NSW Foundation and was previously a non-executive director of Pacific Brands Ltd., now part of the Hanesbrands.

Lukasz de Pourbaix

Investment Committee

Lukasz leads the Lonsec Investment Solutions Pty Ltd (LIS) business. LIS harnesses Lonsec’s broad investment research and portfolio construction expertise delivering effective and efficient portfolio solutions to financial advisers. Lukasz is also chair of Lonsec’s Asset Allocation Investment Committee and is a member of the Manager Selection and Direct Equities Investment Committees. Prior taking the CIO role Lukasz was Lonsec’s General Manger – Investment Consulting where he provided portfolio construction and manager selection advice to dealer groups, fund managers, super funds and private wealth institutions.

Lukasz has over 18 year’s industry experience commencing his research career at ING Australia where he was Research Manager. Prior ING he worked for BT Investment Management. Lukasz holds a Bachelor of Commerce degree and the CIMA designation. Lukasz is currently on the board of the Investment Management Consultants Association (IMCA).
